A ceremony was held at the library of Aghosh Orphan Care Home to commemorate World Book Day. The event was attended by teachers and children of Aghosh Orphan Care Home. Colonel (Retired) Mubashir Iqbal, Director Aghosh Complex, addressed the ceremony, stating that books are the essence of any nation's culture, civilization, and progress. He emphasized that books broaden the mind and intellect. Even in today's modern scientific era, books remain invaluable.

Col. (r ) Mubashir Iqbal said that books illuminate the paths to a brighter future. He informed the children that the founder and patron of MQI, Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, has contributed to the expansion of knowledge by writing one thousand books. Dr. Qadri, he said, has played a significant role in promoting the culture of reading through books. He urged the children to make friends with books to eradicate ignorance and illiteracy.

“Connecting with libraries is essential. A person who befriends books is never alone. No society can deny the importance and benefits of books, which play a vital role in education and upbringing,” he said.
